Does tire dressing stop dry rot?

Does Armor All, Tire Shine, etc. prevent or slow tires from dry rotting? I know
they make them stand out. I'm concern about dangers of dry rotting due to
weather, age, etc. . Thanks

From what I've read dry rot is from the sun baking the volatiles out of the rubber , A conditioner helps to replace them , so yes , But if they are already cracked then I don't think it'll help .
There are much better tire dressing out there that are not silicone based as silicone tends to dry the moisture out of stuff. The best thing to do is to cover the tires. You can get them from RV suppliers or even Amazon.
Just don't use a silicone based product or they will prematurely rot. I believe Armor All is a silicone product. Use a product that is meant for tires.

Tire experts say you should also replace tires every six years due to age and dry rot regardless of tread.
