Why wont my 2007 jetta move?

My car will crank but when I put it into gear, it will not move. I just had my transmission replaced so what's the prblem?

I just don't understand it though. The first time I had this problem my car would back up but it wouldn't drive forward. Now this time it will not drive forward or in reverse but it still will crank up and it still runs smooth.

There could be a loose driveshaft or cv joint if your friend didn't torque everything down properly.
