I have a 1988 ford mustang coop ,my car starts an runs when i drive it .its like it has no power while driving it,when i come to a complete stop it some times stals out any one have any suggestions what it may be?

It could be all sorts of causes. It could be lack of fuel or loss of compression. Check your spark plugs to see if they are wet after driving it a few minutes. The health of the spark plugs will help you determine what the cause is. If fouled up plugs it could mean an overhaul of the engine is needed. Another cause could be timing is off.
