88 Ford Mustang has no power

Asked by GuruTFV1L Jul 19, 2018 at 07:30 PM about the 1988 Ford Mustang LX Coupe RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 88 Ford Mustang. It gets power when we have it
up in jack stand. You can put it in drive and it will go. You
can put it in reverse and it has power. We have changed
the  torque converter. Put new spark plugs and new plug
wires on it. We have checked the ground. Changed the file
pump. Tested fuel  compresion. The second we put it on
the ground we have no power but can reve it up all the
way in park. But nothing in drive or revers. What could
possibly be my problem?
