What do you think estimate on custom would be?

Question type: Car Customization
I have a good 1967 Mustang body with no running parts and a
2014 Mustang with a wrecked body but good running parts.
What do y'all think the conversion would cost? If possible a diy
and mechanic estimated price if you can. (I know both are
worth more with original parts, but just curious I think it would
be neat to do).

You could check out speed catalogs that cater to such retro fits to get an idea on pricing at least for parts. They do make wiring harnesses/ECMs that strip out some non essential things like security and O2 sensors to make running a modern drive train in an older car possible. Cost wise it will be a lot, pretty much a full custom install with some fabrication required.
The conversion cost would be high. A correct motor will bolt in. A 14 motor and transmission means this is a custom job for every single part of the job. Unless you are a really good mechanic and fabricator I would look for a correct engine/trans for your car. What did it have originally?
An easy conversion/upgrade would be to install a 5.0 engine/trans from a Fox body Stang.
The 67 could have a number of engines but the 289 was common. It could have an inline 6, 289, 390 or even a 428 if it was a Cobra Jet car. If it was a big block you have a valuable car that should get a proper restoration.
If it was a K code 289 you really should restore it with the correct engine!

C code is a 2 barrel 289.
