Hi, I am looking at purchasing a '67 Mustang GT Convertible that is a factory 390 and manual gear change. I have been told that this is a very rare car and only approx 600 in the GT convertible were made yat I can't find a book or web site to confirm this. Can you help? Many thanks Jonathon

Check with the S-Code registry. It is a rare car. I have a 390 S-Code myself. 1967 was the first year that Ford put a big block into the Mustang. Scoderegistery.com I believe, is the website.

Try checking it out with a local club , or go to the Mustang GT registry ( on line) They might have some info for you .
