Car listing

Asked by muscle3818 Jul 17, 2016 at 11:01 AM about the 1986 Ford Mustang LX Coupe RWD

Question type: General

Yesterday I listed my 1986 Lx mustang and received an
email stating it was successfully listed. Today I received
another email from you requesting a picture of a t-shirt
across the hood with a full picture  of the car. The email
stated this was too combat fraudulent postings. Is this
something you at Cargurus request randomly from time
too time before the vehicle is listed ? Thanking you in
advance for your answer to this question.

I'm sure it's too combat fraudulent listings. If you want to know what a plague those are, just go to Craigslist sometime. So many posts there steal a car image from the web, list them at some ridiculous price, then try to rope potential buyers into wiring them money. So it really makes sense that CarGurus filters out those scammers. At least here you have a better assurance the sellers are real sellers.
