the market is....buh...overinflated with these! probably start around 5000, possibly more if the interior is pristine.

There is not an easy answer to this one. It depends on several factors. It depends on the condition, yes, but also on the engine and transmission as well as what other options are on the car. Certain engine options can add 10% or more to the value, while others can subtract just as much. In the end, it boils down to what one person is willing to pay to get that particular car.

i have a 84 mustang GT T-top hatchback, with a mild built 351w,and a t5 tranny , car as been restoed top to bottom 2 ton paint just about every thing new on her what would you think she worth

the was just restored painted blue on sliver new hood with 4" cowl scoop new front bumper the interior as been all redone new carpet a loud ass sound system in her ford racing short throw shifter 5-speed t5 tranny for last the power plant 351w that as been built and heads done up good can keep going on new and upgraded parts
