Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My engine blew in my 2004 Mustang Coupe. Would it be worth it to put different
engine in for $3200 that was quoted to me?

Is that for a used engine? You do not give nearly enough information to give you good advice.

That is probably as much as the car is worth. A used engine is a huge gamble. What happens if it blows up a 1,000 miles later? Most likely they will tell you ruff ruck.

Personally I wouldn't put that kind of money in a 17 year old vehicle. Use the money for a downpayment on a newer Mustang. Hope that helps! Jim
