Lost all electrical power while driving

Asked by Dblbass Jul 19, 2019 at 06:12 PM about the 2005 Ford Explorer XLT V6 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

What would cause my 05 explorer 4x4 6 cylinder to
lose power and shit down while driving,I'll stop on
side of road and after a few times of tryingto start
it,it'll start back up and go...

1 Answer

Could be the coil going bad when it gets hot. Also a bad ignition module. Both of these will cause a stall of power and no start, both temporarily and permanent..
