2004 Ford Explorer draining battery

The battery warning indicator was flashing.  It died on me after parking the
vehicle and shutting it off. I replaced the battery the next day had the alternator
tested I was told that the battery was bad. Well 2 days later the battery indicator
is on again and the voltage gage shows that it's dropping again. Any advice
would be appreciated before I open a can of worms.  Thank you.

You said you had the alternator tested....on or off vehicle? And what were the results of the alternator?
