Window regulator

Asked by GuruH74WQ Aug 10, 2019 at 10:19 AM about the 2003 Ford Explorer XLT V6

Question type: General

I have a 2003 for explorer. Bought the window regulator.
She I went to install, the studs on the top and bottom are
not the same length. Which will not allow with the space
provided in the door to slide up in the top to allow the top
studs to go in the holes. I am stuck and have no idea how
to install this part. The two studs on the bottom side are a
quarter in smaller in length around the same size as the
broken one i took out. I am at a loss with this and don't k
ow if it's the part itself or not??

I would check with the parts suppler if you have the correct part number first. Window regulators are door specific, meaning, front, left will only fit the driver door, etc.
