make sure your tires are filled to the right pressure

Get a locking gas cap so people dont steal your gas... Don't drive aggressively. Dont idle for long periods of time. Watch your speed (gas mileage decreases rapidly at speeds over 60MPH). Take out all things that are not needed out of your vehicle. (less weight = better gas mileage) Keeping a clean air filter. (K&N would help) Spark plug correctly gapped and clean. Make sure oxygen sensors are opperating correctly. Properly inflated tires. Clean Oil.

buddy, your driving something thats about as aerodynamic as a brick. imo, the best way to increase your fuel economy is to sell the exploder, and buy sometihng smaller. ie, civic, cobalt, etc etc.
