Now your brother can call you a dumb ass. This is gonna take a good locksmith or a Ford dealer to put right.

Purchase a new cylinder and programmable key from a place like Autozone. Have a locksmith come to the vehicle's location and change the cylinder and program the vehicle. Probably a little less expensive than having a locksmith sit their for an hour or so and make you a new key from your previously undestroyed ignition with a file.
