Also there are two listed places for door code reset one under passenger windshield wipes.......the other behind seats in the back......mine has neither. If I must send pics to prove it I will. Help plz

OK so found an answer! Frustrating thing is you would have no idea how many different forms I've been on trying to find a solution to this problem,a dozen at least. And have seen this asked more than a dozen times. I have seen answers to reset the door code and where to find those numbers. One guy was actually a know it all about the answer even after another man pointed out that his reset numbers were not under the defrost panel supposedly exposed by lifting Passenger side windshield wiper and obtaining themoff a white box in the dash only visible from outside.(wrong) Another guy states he found his behind the plastic panel at the rear back roll down window behind the seats also found on a white box...( wrong as well). So to make a long story longer than guys for the help! If anyone is having this problem and your vehicle also has aftermarket viper security which i believe ties in with factory security simply remove panel under steering wheel, then remove crash plate, located box which says viper on it large black box easy to find trace the wires leading from box up into dash and find an inline 15 amp fuse. Then pull the fuse ....yes only the 15 amp leave the others. Problem solved! And to think yes taking a wire at the tail light connecting it to the hot lead then sticking the other end of the wire to the frame will also work and if ur a car thief you dont care what systems you might mess up . I almost did it anyways!!!! For such a simple solution there are no answers anywhere on this problem very disappointing especially since I'm not electrician or mechanic! Pull the only online e 15 amp fuse leading from the viper unit.....that simple. Hope this helps someone !
