Can you put a Honda Navigation system from the EX in to the LX?

I wanted to get a Navigation system for my Honda and I was wondering if I could just buy the factory Honda navigation system and install it into my Accord LX or if I should just buy a TomTom or Garmin?
Thanks.

You could most likely use the Honda system, but I think a TomTom or Garmin will give you just as good service, with greater availability of update disks, and probably at a lower price. Your Honda parts department can tell you if their GPS is available for your car.
the honda navi system will look better though as it is integrated into the dashboard http://www.hondanavigationdvd.net/
if u want a nav system get the lxp theyre meant 2 have it
Honda Navi system, worst I've seen. I just bought a used fully loaded 2014 Honda Accord V6 Touring. The Navi is awful, it's also out of date. Typically even brand new Honda cars, the navi is 2 years out of date. So you want to update it, Honda Canada charges $179.00 plus $30 for delivery and then tax. My Garmin paid just under $200.00 has free map updates for life. They are current. Also the voice feature for Honda is bad. Watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pOH82stg0J4
I also have a 2014 honda accord touring with navigation and it is the worst navigation I have ever used. I bought a 5" garmin with all the bells and whistle for 170 cdn and it blows the doors off the honda OEM navigation for 2014. it has plus free lifetime updates. Honda just doesn't get it $250 for a yearly update is crazy.
Smart phones are the way to go.
Did you ever do this? I'm wondering the same. Did you have to buy a special wiring harness to make it work?
OMG just noticed this was posted in 2007. I was talking about a 2017 LX lmao
