Running car

Asked by Jacob Mar 06, 2016 at 11:41 AM about the 2006 Volkswagen Jetta TDI

Question type: General

I was at a party and it was cold so I turned  the car
on before I crashed to get some heat on (had no
other place to stay) and anyways I passed out and
left it running for about 6 hours or so... is this bad
for the car? Someone told me I should get an oil
change ASAP.

Wouldn't hurt to get the oil changed, Idling for that long your lucky to be alive, carbon monoxide, and it is not good for the engine.
