i dont think this has to be replaced.check with your mechanic on this.

Depends what warranty Chevy was offering when you bought your vehicle. I believe they are 3/36,000 for basic stuff. The emissions canister may be covered along with the PCM and catalytic convertor under the required Federal Emissions Warranty which is 9 years, 96,000 miles.
