Transmission problems

Probably a tired out trany, especially if you have like around 140,000 miles on it. You could scan for trany codes in the chance it would show up a solenoid or sensor.

I think the issue is a faulty design and GM must know about but does not want to accept it. My 2010 LT quit running with almost 40000 miles and the dealer said cost to fix the transmission was about $1,700.00 if there was no metal residue I in the pan and just over $3,000.00 if metal residue was noted. I was lucky and got away with just under $1,700.00 plus over $300.00 for a rental. I think I have bought my last GM. Unhappy GM customer in Kirby, Texas,
