Chevy Tahoe not cranking even with new battery

I have a 2001 Chevy Tahoe (308k miles). The battery is new and I have all power (lights, radio, etc) However, when I turn the key I get nothing, not even an attempt to turn over. After several tries, it may or may not start right up....any help would be much appreciated.
