When I turn the car off, take out the keys and lock it, the odometer/tripometer red light on the dash board stays lit. Is this draining the battery? Surely, it can't be normal for it to stay lit.

every beetle ive seen the odometer stays lit im guessing its normal. as for the red light on the dash i assume its the security light? Ive seen them blink every few seconds but not stay lit so i dunno about that put i wouldnt worry about the odometer like i said every single one i have seen stay on and alot have come through the dealership.
