03 chevy trailblazer seems like after shaking its going to shut down way it acts
Okay heres my details:
A. I first thought tranny was shifting down gears or
holding me bk but tranny wrks fine everytime. Then
issue began while idling also. I have learned that
sound of kicking down or holding me bk is the
engine trying to stall or shut off since I feel a shake
hear some air noise as if engine is stalling and
does it during driving the SUV and while now it
idles. Each time I touch the gas to keep engine
running. At first I described it as if I were losing
power or as if trannys was trying 2 hold me bk but
after feeling like I was going to shut down I noticed
engine trying to stall I now think. Bc the shake
comes first even now with idling. The idle hand
goes from below 1 up to 1.5 and afterwards
sounds like its dying down to shut off. I touch gas
more while driving or while SUV is idling I keep
engine running.
B. Guy guaranteed me no major probs just he
disconnected the AC line and abs n brk lights are
on. He didn't have SUV on rd he said so I cld only
test drive it arnd the parking lot. I started feeling
loss of power or held bk feeling same night driving
it home. I also felt the shake come first. And also
didn't know why sounded like engine was kicking
down. At 1st I thought tranny was holding me bk
bs actually I was losing power all bc I now believes
was bc engine was trying 2 stall n noise I hear I
think is what u hear b4 an auto is stalling. He wtite
me agreement nada wrong no expensive parts
needed and any probs he will fix my SUV 4 me.
C. Why would someone guarantee an auto had no
issues while it did have issues right in writing ?
How stupid. Lol. Anyways I need help. I'm a
woman I only know crtn mechanic stuff. Like I said
I was having big prob trying to describe the shake
the noise I heard and etc until I put it all tgthr n
noticed in yard has same shake and sounds like it's
going to stall maybe air mixed with such noise and
knowing engine wld feel loss of power when turned
off finally helped me figure out while driving down
the rd I'm getting same symptoms as I do parked
while idling. I read in the questions and answers on
here ppl had probs with same auto as mine and
they would turn AC on and it would begin issues 4
them. Well makes me now suspicious of why guy
took AC line off my suv he says bc line was bad or
hose was bad. But I now wonder if taking AC line
off would keep chk engine light from coming on?
D. I also have touch my gas pedal while driving it
idling 2 make auto stay running it seems. I have
not allowed it to stall. But if I hold pedal steady 4
steady speed or use cruise control issue kicks in
after with the shake and feel like I'm losing power
as if feels as tho I'm going slower than
speedometer reads. Also I'm hearing a noise like
being held bk as if a tranny were 2 be put into low
gear or if tranny needs to shift sound u hear b4
tranny shifts type of sound but I shift every gear
easily n rpms stay correct. So idk why engine wld
shake n act like im about to stall but I can stay
going although bc I do stay going it feels n sounds
like sumthin is slowing me down or holding me bk.
Hard to explain. I'm not stalling but I do believe
like I would if I let off the gas or had not given it
more gas. However I can coast not touch gas and
still at times feel the shake and feel like I'm being
held back with noise and action of my SUV. Hard to
explain. But I do know stalling symptoms do seem
the same as symptoms I'm having I worry engine
will start to shut down way it shakes a bit and
noise as if I'm being held bk.
E. It's got 4wd 4awd 2hi and 4l on the button I turn
for 4wd. Its 6cyl idk wat liters or engine size I have.
I did push cruise control thinking wipers switch
button to push was 4 windshield washer fluid but
the word cruise shown up onto my dash . So I
started feel the shake also then too. Just as if I'm
bucking kind of shake or jolt I feel. No engine light
is on. I now also hear as if brk pads are scraping
altho the sound didn't appear until I drove on2 a
dirt rd. Idk if caliper clip is scraping or scratching
agnst sumthin or if brk pads are going also. But I
do hear a noise in the front pass tire. That was
secs b4 I heard scraping noises. Also the tires air
pressure was not even in each tire so I put same
amt of air in all 4 tires. It also draws to the pass
side trwrds the shoulder line of the rd once I let go
of steering wheel on the straight roads. Now I
noticed 1st with parts 2 do with brks n stuff behind
the tires parts I noticed a small sound thought
nothing of it bc was not 2 loud. Then I went on dirt
rd and noticed on main rd after I got off dirt rd that
I had 2 push my brk pedal down further n didnt
stop instantly as I was b4 I went onto the dirt rd. So
I was still rolling. After I pushed bit more down
onto my brk pedal came the scraping loud noise.
No alerts like brk pads give first b4 they get way
down bc brks were fine till I drove onto that dirt rd.
turn my wheel can hear a noise in that front pasngr
tire. Guy sold me SUV on sunday . I'm alrdy hearing
noises and having these probs with it. He swears
none hppnd for him. Bs he beated it he said at
times there I baby it. I know I did not all of a
sudden babying my baby cause a shake or stalling
feeling n actions n noises and I know it hppnd
while driving it home. So I wld believe I caused
issues if nada hppnd night I got it from him but it
did. And not only am I now worried about AC line or
hose is off but also abs and brk lights are on. He
said bc of an bad brk n abs sensor and fuse! He
plugs in fuse lights go out . But sum reason he
unplugged the fuse n left my lights on. He says
prob is clean the fuse prings they are my prob. So
now my bf says the guy cld unplugged the abs brks
frm wrkn bc of an bad wheel bearing wld show
both brks n abs lights or sound in wheel could also
be sumthin 2 do with my abs brks but the guy said
he unplugged fuse was bc pedal kicks bk or
vibrated onto his foot like pulsations. Idk if I need
an wheel bearing , or throttle body cleaned or crank
shaft or some sensor or a new filter or an fuel
pump idk what I need bc guy neva told me wat
hppnd with him 4 symptoms nor wats wrong with
SUV. He signed paper stating nothing wrong with
auto or nothing wrong majorly with auto. So it says
alot more in our agreement bout he has to fix my
SUV if had issues but thing is he lied to me said it's
safe n reliable. idk if I can trust his hands onto my
SUV now. So someone pls help me. I only know
crtn mechanic probs and info so idk how 2 fully
explain all my suvs symptoms are. But I do feel a
shake in tard sounds like its gna stall well shut off .
I know stalling sound and feeling wld make me feel
like loss of power while driving but thing is if it was
stalling or acting like it wants to but doesnt stall
while driving idk wat 2 say is description of wat its
fully doing. All i know is yes it feels like its losing
power after I feel a shake n a feeling of I'm being
held bk I do hear a noise as if a rranny holding me
bk or had 2 shift or even maybe the noise is sound
of auto engine Want to shut down I totally cant
describe engine noise I hear correctly but ut
sounds like as if I were a machine and I was pulling
sumthin but I sounded low sound and was power
kind of all that u heard but also u cld hear noise as
if I'm failing 2 kick in enough power 2 draw right as
if me as a machine I were shifting gears down 2
hold machine I was towing back. The symptoms
only occur crtn times there is no crtn times it does
it just Is randomly. I pd attn see if hppnd while
engine was warm or cold so far when it's been
running for a bit so I wld say symptoms occur wen
hits medium heat temp in motor n afta its fully
heated. Now I do run heater I havent tries see if
symptoms go away with geat being off. but yes
after I used cruise control symptoms kicked in
automatically n if I'm up to 40mph holding pedal
steady I noticed symptoms occur. Symptoms do
occur at dffrnt speeds also but mainly I noticed is
at 40mph and yes tranny shifts every gear. Oil n
tranny fluid both normal looks n smells. Tail pipe
smoke is clear normal and no moisture or wetness
at tail pipe. No smoke under the hood. Temp
gauge I'm unsure if 1 is in on my dash so i canr say
that temp stays low normal or hand gets almost
high but no smoke 4 over heating occurs, oil gauge
is normal. My lights idk if they are on settings 2
blink cpl times while idling or if it's a security thing
bc they installed an non manufactured keypad
remote starter n thingy does unlock n lock the
doors also. The engine wen shut off by the keg
sounds as if sum1 is lifting my engine and
throwing it down there is a huge sound of an bang
noise as if sumthin bashes agnst sumthin wen I
use key turn SUV off. Now if I start SUV with my
keypad its programmed shut off in ten mins if I
4get I started it or If I need more time getting ready
it turns its self off for me. Okay when engine shuts
off afta being started with keypad if shuts down on
ten min timer the engine shuts down quietly there
is no huge bang or sound of as if sum1 just threw
my engine down. I was asked bc during idle I get a
shake if my motor mounts are gone also bc the
bang when turning SUV off with my key. Well my bf
says they have 2 be in there or else tons stuff wld
be making noises and engine sumthin idk. But he
says motor mounts are there. Idk what could make
that bang sound though. Idk if it does have
anything to do with my auto acting like its gna stall
in the yard or anything to do with the shake and
feel as if though I'm being held bk but really arent
being held bk bc I touch fas I go faster. Sk what's
gna make SUV seem like its acting as tho its gna
stall but truly does not stall? As I chkd see if ur wld
stall by trying 2 coast dont touch the gas and it
didnt stall. But I didn't try 2 let off gas while
symptoms were presented . This issue with the
shaking and acting like it's being held bk once it
does so again I'm gna let off gas and see if it stays
running. I did not let off gas bc I was scared if if
shuts down will I be able 2 start it bk up. Also bc I
touch gas wen it idles I'm gna see if it shuts off by
also not giving it gas. Now what if it stalls wen i
dont give it gas to keep it running what part is
going bad? What if it dont stall but picks bk up
keeping its self running then what part does it
need? Does bad fuel pump or what wld make it
seem like its gna stall but it doesnt? Or what part
would make if about 2 stall but give it gas keeps it
running? I dont got $ to get it diagnosed in garage
but if I can be told what 2 have chkd atlst thn I be
only paying garage 2 chk wat u guys tell me alrdy 2
gave mechanic chk. Like I dont got $ 2 waste to
throw at an garage. Its easiest 2 know wat 2 have
thm chk for or 2 tell them what's wrong that needs
fixing. I read on here ppl threw $ to garages and 0
issues were fixed or only crtn probs got fixed. I
cannot waste $ I'm also not rich. So pls help me. If
I can be told what part to buy or parts I shld say
then the guy who guaranteed me this auto nada
wrong with it I will make repair my auto once I go
buy the parts. altho accrdn 2 our agreement he lied
in it so he shld be the 1 to pay for parts especially
amt of $ I gave to him with SUV acting hesitant
while driving has the shaking and noises plus feel
and actions like its power lowers or is gna stall or
as if sumthin kicks in 2 hold me bk idk but he lied
htf e had 2 of had these such probs and so bc jm
nice I just want it fixed so pls tell me what my prob
is and I know I'm hard 2 understand with how I'm
describing these issues 4 the noise of being held
bk and saying it seems n sounds like it wants 2
stall but dont cld be bc I am still giving it gas by
holding my foot steady at a steady speed when
issue starts seems I'm always at a constant
speeds b4 shake starts in etc but shake comes 1st
and if I'm picking up speeds or lowering them at
times lowering speed symptoms will also occur
but picking up speed I dont feel issues 2 start. So
steady speed or lowering my speed or use cruise
control I get that shake as if I'm bucking and I feel
like I'm going grandma speed altho speedometer
reads same speed does feel like I slowed right
down lower than the speed I was driving steady
give it more gas and issue seems 2 start to
resolve. Issues only occur and last I wld say for
about a few mins tops. Issues do not present
thmslvs during my full trips on the rd but yes each
trip I make yes I'm always feeling the issues
symptoms it cld be worse n feel symptoms during
whole trips I make so 2 lessen chnc of such hppng
I want my SUV fixed. I bought this bc my car had
probs I told guy I need reliable auto all ready 4 the
rd now I'm alrdy having issues. I totally need this
SUV 2 run correctly pls help me. Srry 4 long msg !
