Why is my check engine light on?

I have a 04 grand marquis runs good and changes shifts
good. But my check engine light is on and every time I stop
at a stop sign or red light I feel a light vibration that comes
and goes but once i start driving it feels good can i please
get some help...

Hey Hector, Since the light is on, that means you have some trouble codes to tell you what is going on. Without the codes we'd only be guessing. Ask an associate at your local auto part store to scan the car for the fault codes and post them back here for help.
