Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I discovered this broken vacuum line on my 04 Grand
Marquis while inspecting vacuum lines to fix the ac. I saw a
video on YouTube that showed it going to a "parking brake
actuator" but I don't even see that under my dash. Is it
possible that the previous owner had it removed or does
the hose go somewhere else. Its a white line routed from
the engine bay by the cowl panel then inside the cabin
behind the gas pedal. Its been hissing ever since I fixed a
kink in another vacuum line and its driving me up many
walls . I would go to the junkyard and take a look at one
but its a 2 hour drive. please feel free to email me pictures

Either block it off, and release your parking brake manually, or replace it. It's gotta be under there somewhere, you may have to remove a lower plastic panel. I have mine off, and leave it off, don't need it.

I blocked it off and I've had the car 5 years and have always released it manually had no idea about the actuator until now. I keep all of my panels off because im down there often just looking around but there's no sign of a actuator ever being down there besides that hose.
