Go back to Orielly's and have that parts guy show you where it goes. If you bought the part there, that's the least they could do after taking your money. Or you can look around on top of the left and right banks of the engine for a place where that part could thread into the head or cooling system. The old and new part will look the same and have a wire going to it. Don't have to drain the cooling system. Take the cold engine and release cooling system pressure by removing the cap. Then swap out the part, hook wire up, recap radiator. Cancel check engine light by disconnecting battery a couple minutes. Hope this helps.
