I took the drive train from my 1997 legacy 2.5GT and install into my 2000 Outback Sport wagon but the wire harness connectors are different. Is there a simple harness I can get to plug it in?

You will have to change the harness and ECM/Computer to get it to run right.

Ok thanks. I bought the outback without any drive train at all and the legacy was a good running doner car so I have the computer and wiring but is a major job to pull dash & swap harness. I know for Honda's they have a short harness to use when swapping drive trains, wasn't sure if Subaru had something similar?

You're trying to put a phase 1 motor into a phase 2 car, so you will need to merge harnesses.
