2005 gmc yukon cooling system
I have a 2005 GMC Yukon 1500 SLT 4 x4. Most of the time the vehicle temp. runs just a notch below 210. ( maybe around 190 or so ).
In this hot Texas weather it still runs around this temp and no hotter than 210 even with front and rear ac running on high and the vehicle idiling for extended periods of time.( even at 100 degrees outside ).
But you take a 95 - 100 degree day and you get the vehicle above 70 mph on the freeway and the cooling temp shoots up to 220 and stays there. I don't think this is normal but I need an opinion and a diagnosis please.
