Real gas mileage for a 2008 Impreza WRX STI

I average 22-23 mpg in my 08 STI with mostly highway driving, but I can get 27 if I really drive nice.

Check out www.fueleconomy.gov they have a pretty accurate M.P.G. ratings because they take input from consumers who own and drive daily unlike what they tell you at dealership. Wow thats wierd. I get 34mpg hwy and 26 cty for my 1999 Impreza OBS! Those STi's are hot though...

With my '08 it says 17 to 23 as well. The fact is that by doing on average 70-75 on highway I get about 29mpg. City is abou 26.

it really depends on how hard you step on the gas, remember that car got turbo on it, the more air it sucks the more gas u use...but mostly its about 17-19 city and 20-22 hwy

Wow, you must not really drive it then. When do you shift, 1500 rpm? I'm lucky to get 20 mpg in my 07 sti.
