100,000 miles service

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
My Odyssey odometer just read 100,200 miles and Iam getting ready to buy the recommended parts. My question is what are the really necessary parts to replaced at this service?...timing belt, auto tensioner, tensioner bearing, idler bearing, water pump, main and cam seals, what else did I missed?...Appreciate any info.
thank you

deff. the t-belt, t-belt tensioner, water pump, outer belt. never really had v6 cam seals go bad at 100k. same goes for the pullies. I've did t-belts on those with 200K and the bearings and cam seals were good. Just tell the technician to inform you about condition of the seals and bearings.

Buy all the parts - you are good on the list as follows: DO = Dealer Optional - Usually not done to maximize profit. #5 14400-P8A-A02 - TIMING BELT - 30.23 DO #6 14510-PGE-A01 - ADJUSTER, TIMING BELT - 65.05 DO #7 14513-RCA-A01 - BOLT for #6 - 4.55 DO #11 14530-P13-000 - COLLAR for #6 - 19.44 DO #18 14520-P8E-A01 ADJUSTER, AUTOMATIC - 83.38 DO #13 14550-PGE-A01 - IDLER, TIMING BELT - 36.07 DO #14 14551-P8A-A01 IDLER TIMING BELT BOLT - 5.18 DO #17 95801-06030-07 BOLT for #18 - 0.69 DO #6, #9 Timing belt cover gaskets - uppers - $15.64 DO #4 #3 Timing belt cover gaskets - lower - $21.00 #3 19200-P8A-A02 - Water pump kit - 107.05 #10 38920-P8F-A02 - AC compressor belt - 22.31 #10 56992-P8A-A01 - Belt power steering - 16.14 2 gallons of Honda Engine Coolant - seems like it about 1.2 gallons actual. Before coolant shipping and taxes - thats $331.45 Cam and main seals - discussed w/ Honda for mine - leave alone - major work needed to replace - Odyclub.com agrees Don't bother the mechanic, after you hand over the bag of parts, while he is working. Get your quote on hours or service dollars and likely go to you the mechanic or one in your neighborhood you trust at $80/hr hour instead of $110-120.
