Coolant leaking

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just parked my car just a few hours ago and noticed that
there was a dripping sound coming from my engine. When I
got out of the car I proceeded to look underneath and I saw
a small puddle of what look like to be coolant so I didn't
touch it smelt it even tasted it, it was sweet so I know that
it's coolant. Since the sound sounded like dripping it
doesn't necessarily have me super concerned about things
like head gaskets. It does look like the dripping is coming
from near where the reservoir is. Does anybody know
anything about the connections the hoses that go to the
reservoir and leaking issues that have been leaked to just
bad hoses on the reservoir? Please give me some insight
so that way I can get this fixed thank you.

If you have a noticeable drip, that should be of concern no matter where it is leaking from. It could also be from a heater hose. The leak needs to be found and repaired as I'm sure you know.

This picture is zoomed out. But the leak appears closer to where driver is just past the front driver side tire. Most signs point to the resivor.

That spot is in a odd spot. There doesn't look like it is around any coolant source. Check ALL the fluid levels.

Yep, I guess it is, That top black cover piece would have to come off to look at where the leak is coming from, the hose of the coolant reservoir. You wouldn't be able to see from underneath.
