I contacted you Gurus yesterday on a problem I'm having with my 96 Acura Integra. I had left the ignition turned to the on position overnight and drained the battery. Battery is fine and everything is working except when I turn the key to start it.....nothing. You replied 'when the battery is drained the computer loses memory of the key transponder chip code. I have an automatic transmission and sometimes when I try to put in another gear from "park", it is locked and I have to put the key in the keyhole next to the gearshift to "unlock" it. Any ideas of what may be failing or wrong? 6 Answers
