2006 5.7 hemi blows smoke

Asked by Nathan Apr 05, 2021 at 10:33 PM about the 2006 Chrysler 300 Limited RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Got a 06 Chrysler 300c that just bellows smoke out the
exhaust smells like oil, when you rev it up it is a massive
cloud wondering what would cause that. I dont think it's the
heads since it's coming from both tailpipes (dual exhaust).

Blue smoke at idle only is valve guide seals. Blue smoke while driving is piston rings. Hope that helps! Jim

Time for a new car. I doubt yours is worth fixing.
