Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was driving home from work was at a stop light when my car started making
a loud horrible noise and died. Had to get it towed home and to find out the
timing belt tensioner was shot. My belt stayed on. What are the chances if any
of having engine damage

I would guess engine is going to be fine get the tensioner replaced and timing belt back in line and should be good to go :)
