Automatic or manual tranny? If I'm remembering correctly acura and honda use there on special oils in both. Acura doesn't have a long dipstick tube like most american cars. The dipstick handle should be around 4 inches long with a loop to pull it out. Sometimes it's has red paint on it. Acura transmissions are not the cheapest to repair or replace. I recommend that you stop by an acura dealership or an Ammco tranny shop. Just smile and flirt a little and they might check it for you and even top it off as well.
