I have a 2007 Chevy Silverado with 208,000 miles on it the check engine light is blinking now and it's idling wrong also when he shifts it does it very rough!! When we stop it shakes a lot.

did you just replace #6 plug or coil? i would do a tune up and see if that helps

We just changed #6 because it showed misfire but still there is something wrong.......I believe it is the coil!

Check your injector fuse. That will make the check engine light to flash with a rough idle.

I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado extended cab, 4.8 liter. I have had multiple issues with this vehicle, but the one I can't seem to solve is this: if I leave the truck sitting for a day, when I get in and start driving, about 5 miles down the road, it acts like it is being starved of fuel. The engine light starts blinking and there is no power even when i step on the gas fully. After a minute or two, it goes away and runs fine unless I let it sit for a couple days. I just replaced my fuel lines because they were rusted out but that didn't solve the problem. Any ideas anyone? 6 Answers

Engine light is always on and blinks on and off when problem occurs.
