Have a LATE MODEL 2007 Silverado w/4.8 auto & 4x4. What year(s) front diff will fit this truck?

LATE MODEL 2007 Silverado w/4.8, auto, & 4x4. I need another front diff as
this one is grinding. Can't afford a reman and don't think I can handle doing
rebuild myself. Thought I'd buy a used one and put it in. What do you think
and any ideas where to get a used one? Thanks.

A junk yard or Craig's list. Just look at it carefully for signs of problems. Some junk yards will give you a limited warranty on parts. R&R on the current unit is not a problem. It's rebuilding it that I'm afraid of. I'm still looking for the information about what year diffs will fit this particular model. I know chevy changed a lot of stuff in the late 2007 model and I don't know if the diff is one of them. I need to know which year diffs will fit this truck. Thanks.
