2007 Dodge ram, Air conditioning

my 2007 dodge ram 4.7 liter Air conditioning belt squeals when i turn on it AC.
Replaced the compressor clutch and didn;t change anything. I had spoken to
the guy who sold me the clutch. He told me the difference in pressure made the
belt go slower. Said the compressor was still good. Mechanic says its the
compressor. Anyone know for sure?
