2007 dodge ram 1500 5.7 Hemi. dies at low RPM. No codes.

Ran perfect until today.7/11/14. Slowed for a curve and engine died. No codes. Started
right up. Made a turn onto hwy. died again. Started right up. Drove into repair facility ran
engine. died at low RPM about three times. Started right up. Ran smooth. Tried to go to
post office. Ran about 1/4 mile. At about 40 MPH engine started to cut out. Slowed
down and engine died. Took 2-3 tries to start. Ran smooth. Returned to repair facility
and left truck. Believe this is an electrical problem! Bad ground?

My 2007 hemi did about the same thing. Turned out to be my egr valve was sticking open. Replaced it and been all good since. Might try cleaning your egr valve. Cleaning did not help mine. Also mine finally had the check engine light come on but it acted this way for several weeks before it did.

My question Is listed above (Harold) The problem turned out to be a frayed wire to the crank positioning sensor. It was rubbing against the block. A little tape and insulation fixed it. No problem since! This may apply to some of similar problems.
