not a good idea pulling the alt wire when the vehicle is running , what exactly is the problem ?

what is the code definition ? see if the injectors are firing normal , what do the plugs look like ?
After unplugging the top wire on the alternator my truck start running perfectly is it caused by the alternator or that wire feeds power to a sensor ?
