I have an automatic transmission and sometimes when I try to put in another gear from "park", it is locked and I have to put the key in the keyhole next to the gearshift to "unlock" it. Any ideas of what may be failing or wrong? 6 Answers
This problem just started happening this week and it figures the inspection is due this month. It locks in gear (park) and I can't get it out of park without "unlocking" it.

it will start and I can drive it but only once a day when I shut it off it wont start again it still has spark just wont turn over.

I HAVE A 91 ACURA INTEGRA LS AND IT HAS A VERY SMALL AMOUNT OF OIL LEAKING FROM A FLAT CIRCULAR BLACK PIECE OF PLASTIC RESTING ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ENGINE.
