2007 ram

Asked by Guru5RLMQ Jan 31, 2018 at 12:37 PM about the 2007 Dodge RAM 1500 Laramie Quad Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I recently wrecked my ram and put it on its side.
There was no damage other than body. A lot of the
tranny fluid leaked out. It ran fine to get it home,
about 5 miles. After I got it home I started to go
down the road it won’t shift out of first gear. I refilled
the fluid but still the same. Any ideas on this

You may have damaged the transmission by driving it low on fluid. I have no way sitting behind this screen to determine what the problem is. I would take it to a transmission shop for further evaluation.
