Clutch

Asked by acuraowner Jun 22, 2009 at 06:15 PM about the 1990 Acura Integra LS Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

what clutch system does this car have, cable or hydraulic? After it was replaced, the clutch seemed to be very soft compared to prior pressure I was feeling before it was replaced. Is this normal?  The mechanic said that they replaced the spring and because it was hydraulic....are they telling me truth?  Thank for your help...

hydraulic... right beside your brake maste cylinder theres another resivoir which is your clutch fluid. Check that, I have a stage 2 race performance clutch in mine and requires regular top up of fluid (DOT 3or4 brake fluid)
