Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2008 Scion xb  drivers side front end has grinding/scraping when I take a right turn.  The sharper and harder the turn is the louder the scrapping/gringing sound is.

check to see if any of the cowling inside the wheel well is loose and rubbing on the wheel when you turn. if that's good have your front end, wheel bearings and struts inspected.

Wheel bearing... Noise from the right when turning left - right (passenger side) bearing, noise from the left when turning right, left (driver side) bearing. If you take it to a shop to do the wheel bearings, may as well do the sway links too (they're cheap).
