I have a 2006 Ford Taurus and the charging system light came on and then eventually ran my battery down I put a new battery and the light indicator still comes on I checked the fuse which is fuse 26 for the charging alternator system it is good I took the positive side terminal off of the battery while the car was running and it shut off I have not replaced the alternator can someone give me some detail thank you
