high mileage car

Hi guys I just bought a 2008 ford taurus
with 167000 miles for 3k the car has a
20000 miles body inside and out excellent
shape everything looks brand new inside
my question is. Is the hight mileage an
issue? The car drive really good no
problem. Should I get a transmission flush?  
not sure what to do pls help

No, do not get the transmission flushed. Just have the fluid and filter changed in the transmission. Also use a high mileage engine oil.

Go to a shop that does a transmission fluid replacement and not a flush and get it serviced. I would use good old Motorcraft oil in it as the manufacturer specified in the recommended grade.

Thank you very much for the quick answer I was a bit nervous cuz I'v seen a lot people saying their transmission start acting up right after they serviced it .
