Bogging down and dies when coming to a stop

While driving my 2007 Chevy Colorado 2.9 liter
automatic and once I start to slow down to turn or
stop the engine bogs down kinda shakes and dies
every once in a while and keeps getting worse any
suggestions

Do you have an aftermarket air intake? Go to your air filter and make sure everything is tight.

does it idle O.K. ? scan for codes even if the light ain't on and get the definitions

no I don't have an after market air intake and my air filter is clean and tight The idle is smooth
