My car will go and accelerate but I have to rev it up to about 5-6000 RPM’s before it moves. This all started happening when I set the brake. Does anyone have any tips or Awnsers to my problem?

My car will go and accelerate but I have to rev it up to

happening when I set the brake. Does anyone have any
tips or Awnsers to my problem? Oh and the breaks are
squishy too.

One your parking brake is froze on, or 2 you have a transmission issue.

my 1988 mustang gt convertible usually runs great but sometimes it idles up and down and will even die. the problem stops when i accelerate but will continue at cruising speed. sometimes it does not happen for days, then when it happens it can last for a few seconds up to a day. i have replaced the cap, rotor, plugs, wires, fuel filter and egr valve. it feels like a vacuum issue, but i do not think a vacuum issue would come and go like this. i am lost! please help 3 Answers

I have a1995 ford mustang GT 5.0. recently I was reving my engine, and just shortly after my car started bucking and hesitating. Almost dieing at a complete stop. If the stop was long enogh it would stop. I have changed the EGR valve, the IAC valve and the fuel regulator. Also I have replaced all of the hoses that go to the upper intake and the upper intake gasket. I just cleaned the MAF sensor with MAF sensor spray cleaner and now the the check enging light is on and it hesitates when I drive. but the rpms are steady as to where before they were all over the band. any Ideas 4 Answers

i have a 2000 ford mustang v6 guages went crazy when i backed up and the car died, put it park - restarted it. ran fine till i put in drive, guages bounced between max and minimum then it died again and now will not start. the remote trunk key chain - when i push to unlock the trunk or any of the other functions make the relays click under the dash. so is it my relays or something else 3 Answers

My 90 GT Conv't has an idle problem. Only when it ain't been cranked up in a while. I have to crank it up and immediately hit the gas pedal or it will die. Is it the idle control sensor? 17 Answers

I think it has a cam in it, but it started doing this about 3-4 months ago. I have had the car since Feb but had no problem with it.
