Asked by Bluetijerina Jul 27, 2018 at 08:43 PM about the 2008 Ford F-250 Super Duty XL Super Cab

My oil pressure gauge dropped to zero off and on for about 20 min. While
driving for about 20 min. then died. Can't start it and have checked battery
and starter both good. I can move belt and everything turns,but can the
engine still be seized?  It's registering full on dip stick.

Had the same issue with the oil gauge jumping up & down. Got some advice from a acquaintance machanic to replace the gauge,(autozone $14) But advice was wrong!! Oil pump was going bad ended up BLOWING the motor when pump failed.
