I am thinking of buying a 2007 Nissan Sentra SER SPECV , 60K mileage, salvage, mechanic said minor front damage nor major damage, price $7,500., your thoughts?

Not worth it especially if it is a salvage title. Parts are very expensive and hard to find. You can get one in much better shape for less money. I have an 03 and am just now able to find some of the parts. The fuel pump was $900 up until a year ago now it is 250. Had it replaced twice already. The rotors were over 100 each just went down to 42. Struts are now 150 each down from 300. Not to mention insuring a salvaged title is almost impossible in some states. I would really suggest keep looking.
Pass on anything with a salvage title, you will saving yourself a load of headaches. Plus trying to re-sell it will be almost impossible.
