Diesel swap

Is there anywhere to get all the knowledge on
a Cummins 5.9 swap into an 07 Silverado
Classic? I know companies make lots, but
does anyone have anything like a manual?
I’m a new convert to the gospel of Diesel
engines and don’t wanna mess anything up
by leaving too much stock in the truck, and
don’t have all the fabrication tools. Like a
guide to diesel swap for dummies.

Why not buy a diesel truck and save all the trouble and expense of a cross brands engine swap?

Just because I have the option to buy this truck from my employer dirt cheap and I have all the time in the world in my hands to do it. I’d like a diesel truck and enjoy having projects. I’m willing to buy a new engine and transmission to get it done. Just want to learn all I can about diesels and figured doing a project like this where I don’t have a deadline would be a good way to learn.
